Examination Schedule

The main UTME is scheduled to take place from April 14 to April 28, 2025. Additionally, an optional mock examination is available for candidates who express interest during registration. To participate in the mock exam, candidates must register and indicate their interest by February 23, 2025.

Centre Accreditation

New Reading Text

For the Use of English component of the 2025 UTME, JAMB has approved "The Lekki Headmaster" by Kabir Alabi Garba as the official reading text. Candidates are encouraged to obtain and study this novel in preparation for the examination.

Age Requirement Policy

In a recent development, the Federal Government has announced that candidates below 18 years of age will no longer be permitted to sit for the JAMB examination starting from 2025. This decision aims to ensure that candidates are adequately prepared for tertiary education.
