 MOSHOOD ABIOLA POLYTECHNIC (MAPOLY) MANAGEMENT DISSOLVES 2023/2024 STUDENTS' UNION EXECUTIVES




In a recent development, the management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has officially dissolved the 2023/2024 Students' Union Executives. This decision was made during an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, 14th January 2025.


The dissolution is attributed to the natural expiration of the tenure of the Students' Union Executives, which concluded with the effluxion of time. The polytechnic is currently in the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic session, marking the end of the tenure for the 2023/2024 executives.


In an official statement signed by Yemi Ajibola, Head of Public Relations and Protocol, it was emphasized that the 2023/2024 Students' Union Executives are no longer authorized to represent or parade themselves as executives of the institution's Students' Union. The management has thus reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring order and proper governance within the institution.


Students and stakeholders are urged to comply with this directive as the polytechnic moves forward with plans for the new academic session. For further clarification, the institution has provided an official contact point via the email address pro@mapoly.edu.ng.


This announcement marks a significant transition in student leadership at MAPOLY, as the institution prepares for the inauguration of the next set of Students' Union Executives.
