JAMB Set to Start Selling JAMB Forms


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of sales for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms. Aspiring candidates who wish to gain admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria are encouraged to prepare for the registration process. Below are the details of the registration process, requirements, and key information for candidates.


Registration Period


The sale of JAMB forms will begin on 15th of January  and end on 26th of February . All candidates are advised to complete their registration within this period to avoid last-minute rush or complications.

Steps for JAMB Registration

Follow these steps to register for the UTME:

1. Create a JAMB Profile:

Send your National Identification Number via SMS to 55019 or 66019 in this format (NIN_01234567891) from your unique mobile number.

A 10-character Profile Code will be sent to your phone. Keep this code safe, as it will be required during registration.



2. Purchase the E-PIN:

Visit any accredited bank, POS terminal, or JAMB office to purchase the registration E-PIN. You can also purchase it online through the JAMB portal or USSD.



3. Visit an Accredited CBT Centre:

Candidates must complete their registration at a JAMB-accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre. Bring the E-PIN, Profile Code, and your NIN (National Identification Number).

Provide your biodata, upload your passport photograph, and complete the biometric capturing process.



4. Print Registration Slip:

After completing registration, ensure you collect a slip containing your registration details and examination schedule.




Requirements for JAMB Registration

To successfully register for the UTME, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. National Identification Number (NIN):
The NIN is compulsory for all candidates. If you do not have one, visit any NIMC enrollment centre to obtain it before the registration period begins.


2. Valid Phone Number and Email Address:
Candidates must use an active phone number and email address for communication during and after the registration process.


3. O’Level Results:

Candidates must upload their WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results during registration. Those awaiting results can indicate as such and update their profiles once results are available.



4. Personal Details:

Full name, date of birth, state of origin, and address will be required. Ensure the information provided matches your official documents.



5. Passport Photograph:

Use a clear, recent photograph with a white background. This will be uploaded during the registration process.
